Both support poles have round holes that fit onto pins of oar locks. Use enclosed short plastic tubes to prevent poles from sliding on pins. Stern and bow lines can be attached to the plastic ties for easy removal, or directly to rope holders. Line tension has to be properly adjusted in order to keep canopy in place.
Oars can be placed on top of oarlocks and fastened with rubber cord. If you need to use oars, just fold canopy toward the bow, unscrew pins and remove poles from oarlocks. Move folded canopy a couple of inches toward bow and install oars onto pins of oar locks. Since SD430 boat does not have pinned oarlocks, canopy poles may be attached directly to splashguard protectors on top of boat tubes. Distance between splashguards is 58" and bimini top should fit just fine. Plastic tie can be run thought the support pole holes and rope holes in splashguard. Properly adjusted lines will hold canopy in place. See below picture of SD430 with canopy installed.
